Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information bookyour.hair collects, how it is used, and your rights around it. We keep this simple because that is what we would want.
What we collect
When you sign up as a provider, we collect your name and email address. When a client books an appointment through your page, we collect their name, email, and phone number. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers.
How we use it
We use your information to operate the service: sending booking confirmations, processing payments through Stripe, and delivering magic-link sign-in emails through Resend. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data.
- Resend — transactional email (booking confirmations, magic links).
- Neon — database hosting. Your data is stored in the US.
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
Cookies
We set a single session cookie when you sign in as a provider. No third-party tracking cookies, no ad pixels, no analytics.
Data retention
Your account data is retained until you close your account. Booking records are kept for 24 months for tax and dispute purposes, then deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bookyour.hair and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify providers by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
